We got a glimpse of the new Spot Rollik at Interbike last year, and were able to get a full break down on the technology and new suspension design this weekend at the Sea Otter Classic. The Rollik uses a new Living Link suspension design that instead of using bearings in the lower linkage, adapts a carbon leaf spring.
The design is pretty interesting in person, and also looks really clean. The Rollik has a full carbon TeXtreme frame and rear triangle. Felt also uses this carbon layup from the Sweden based company.
The leaf spring is only pushed to 6.5 – degrees of rotation and over the course of testing was incredibly durable. We are anxious to test one of these new rigs out. Scroll through the gallery for more detail photos and keep an eye out for a full review in the future.
